Nestled in Amsterdam-West, the Tituskapel isn’t just a building. It’s a story waiting to be unfolded. This vibrant Christian community has called Wijnand Nuijenstraat 1 home since 1969. Originally designed as a place for quiet reflection, the Tituskapel is transforming. It’s becoming a welcoming hub for the neighborhood. Imagine attending a language café, enjoying a community meal, or experiencing a live music performance, all within these walls. The Tituskapel embraces a diverse congregation of around 150 people, from young adults to families with children and even a spirited group of seniors. Many found their way to the Tituskapel after moving to Amsterdam for work or studies. Interestingly, as of October 2024, the Tituskapel has 37 baptized members and 90 professing members. While they are currently seeking a new permanent preacher, after Klaas de Vries’ departure in the summer of 2024, their spirit of community remains strong. You can find them every Sunday at 10:00 am for their regular service. They also host various activities throughout the week.
