Ever wondered about the heart of Badhoevedorp’s vibrant sports scene? Welcome to SCPB ’22.

This isn’t just any sports club. SCPB ’22 is a legacy forged in 2022. It’s the powerful union of two storied clubs RKSV Pancratius and SC Badhoevedorp. Their combined history stretches back to 1930. This means generations of athletes have played here. Their passion echoes through this very ground.

RKSV Pancratius began its journey in Sloten. They moved to Badhoevedorp in 1958. Their new home? Sportpark De Schuilhoeve the same place we stand now. This became SCPB ’22’s home base.

Pancratius’s journey wasn’t easy. They faced challenges. A group of 17-year-old boys established this club. Through persistence their dream took root. It grew into the powerhouse we see today. Years later they moved to this very spot. They built a clubhouse. This clubhouse even boasted eight changing rooms. A small fortune in those days nearly two hundred thousand guilders expanded the facility.

SC Badhoevedorp emerged from a 1986 merger. SV Lijnden and the football section of SVK/Badhoevedorp joined forces. Their story too is filled with triumphs and challenges. Some notable players like Bilal Basacikoglu Leon Bergsma and Sergio Padt honed their skills here.

SCPB ’22 isn’t just about football. It’s a multi-sport club. This means they offer field and indoor football. Honkball and softball are also part of the SCPB ’22 family. In the 2022-2023 season alone they fielded 87 men’s field football teams nine women’s teams and three indoor football teams. Their commitment to sports is truly impressive.

Today SCPB ’22 plays in the first division for football. Their first honkball team competes in the fourth division. Their first softball team plays in the second division. Their success is a testament to years of dedication teamwork and community spirit.

So as you stand here at SCPB ’22 remember this isn’t just a sports complex. It’s a living testament to the enduring power of sport. It shows the strength of community and the unwavering dedication of athletes. It’s a story written on this field a story we are all part of today.
