A nearby farmhouse even provided fresh milk from cows grazed in the park. For years, a stork has called the Schapenweide home, its nest a prominent feature. A beehive, managed by Smart Beeing, also resides here, promoting biological beekeeping and offering educational opportunities. While the Schapenweide may no longer host live sheep, the stone sculptures serve as a charming reminder of its pastoral past.
