Lost to time, but not to memory. Here at Sportpark Voorland, we stand before the poignant Monument van voetbalclub BPC. It’s a simple memorial, a stone bearing a plaque, a heraldic crest, and two small white natural stone plates. But its simplicity belies the profound loss it represents. The Monument van voetbalclub BPC commemorates the members of the Jewish Be Quick Pollux Combinatie (BPC) football club. These athletes, full of life and promise, were tragically killed during World War II by the occupying forces.
