Jacob Paulus Amersfoordt’s life involved marriage. He married Maria Egberda Everdina Jacoba van Zijll in 1846. Sadly, Maria passed away in 1850. He then married Hermina Maria Dijk in 1852. Hermina was born in Amsterdam in 1821. She died there in 1892.

His journey ended in Asia. Jacob Paulus died. It happened 1630 days after his employment.
