Caravanpark Mimosa offers beautiful caravan pitches. These pitches boast stunning views of the Langeraarse Plassen. The park and its surroundings offer many options. You can find rest and recreation here. Imagine yourself cycling, fishing, or boating. Perhaps you’d prefer a relaxing walk or windsurfing adventure. You can even simply laze around.
Caravanpark Mimosa is a well-maintained caravan park. It is quiet too. Note that there is no on-site canteen or shop at Caravanpark Mimosa. The season here runs from April 1 to October 1. Huisdieren are allowed at Caravanpark Mimosa. They must be leashed outside of your pitch.
Caravanpark Mimosa sits directly on the middle of the three Langeraarse Plassen.
Caravanpark Mimosa has 58 permanent pitches. There is also plenty of mooring space for boats. The Langeraarse Plassen aren’t suitable for large boats or yachts. This is due to small ditches and low bridges. These could hinder your trip. We also don’t have moorings for such boats.
The park lies directly on the water. The waterfront is freely accessible to everyone. This means you can fish, swim, surf or sail from several spots. You can navigate two of the three lakes by boat. The third lake is a protected nature reserve.
You can sail to other nearby waters. Use the lock in Papenveer. These waters include the Braassem, Kaag or Westeinder plassen. Want to learn to surf? You can take lessons at the surf school. It’s almost directly next to our park.
The beautiful area is ideal for walking and cycling. There are various routes available.
Langeraar is a village in the municipality of Nieuwkoop. It lies in the province of South Holland. The village is in the northwest of Nieuwkoop. It sits south of the Wassenaarsche Polder. It is also on the three Langeraarse Plassen.
There are enough places for shopping and other outings within a short distance. These include Alphen a/d Rijn which is 12 km away. Aalsmeer is 13 km away. Leiden is 20 km away. Amsterdam is 32 km away. Den Haag is 39 km away and Utrecht is 40 km away.
