“A family affair, you say?” a camper whispered, eyeing Camping Noorddorperbos. Camping Noorddorperbos has been a family-run business since 1995. It was started by Ina Beentjes. In 2019, her daughter Irene joined the team. By 2023, Irene and her husband Thomas took over full-time. They are dedicated to making their guests feel welcome and providing assistance whenever needed. Located in the beautiful coastal town of Heemskerk, Camping Noorddorperbos occupies a special spot in North Holland. It’s right next to the Noord-Holland Dune Reserve. This reserve is perfect for hiking and cycling. The beach is easily accessible by bike or on foot. The nearby polder landscape is also a favorite among cyclists. Camping Noorddorperbos features 26 pitches. Each pitch has a paved terrace for caravans or campers. Guests can then set up their awning or canopy. The pitches accommodate caravans, campers, folding trailers, and tents. The sanitary building was completely renovated in 2024. The playground and outdoor sanitary facilities got a makeover in 2022. Cleanliness is a top priority at Camping Noorddorperbos. For those seeking a more comfortable stay, chalets are available. These are situated right on the campsite. A 2/4 person chalet and a 2-person chalet are available. Both are fully furnished and have cozy outdoor seating. If you’re planning a trip for Ascension Day or Pentecost in 2025, you’re out of luck. These holidays are already fully booked at Camping Noorddorperbos.
