Picture this. A quaint little building stands before you. It’s Het Spoorhuis. A former railway station. Once a bustling hub connecting Amsterdam and Utrecht. Now a unique event venue.
Het Spoorhuis. It’s more than just a building. It whispers stories of a bygone era. From 1915 to 1950 passenger trains departed from this very spot. Imagine the hustle and bustle. The excited chatter of travelers. The rhythmic chug of steam engines.
This early 20th-century monument is remarkably well-preserved. Restored in 2015 and 2016 it now thrives as a meeting place. It hosts business gatherings. It holds private dinners and special events. Only twenty minutes from both Amsterdam and Utrecht. The entire building is yours for the day. The evening or even longer. You won’t share it with other guests.
The Spoorhuis offers two unique spaces for your event. There’s the classic old waiting room. It can comfortably hold up to 50 guests. Or perhaps the industrial luggage office suits your needs better. This space is perfect for up to 30 people.
High-quality catering is a hallmark of Het Spoorhuis. Local products are their pride. Their cheeses come from the Van der Arend cheese farm. The artisanal bakery supplies their bread. Lake Vinkeveen or the North Sea/Atlantic provides the fish. The local butcher? Simply the best. You can choose from a variety of buffets. Indonesian French Italian BBQ or something entirely different.
After your event you can stroll along the old railway track. It leads to a stunning nature reserve. It’s the perfect opportunity to relax and unwind. To clear your head after an intensive meeting. All AV equipment is available. Parking is free.
Het Spoorhuis. A unique blend of history and modern convenience. It’s a place where the past meets the present. A place where memories are made. A place you should definitely visit.
