Today, the Medische Faculteit is known for its high-quality education. The Bachelor’s Programme in Medicine ranked first in the Dutch National Student Survey in 2022. The Master’s Programme in Medicine also scored high. It placed in the top three among Dutch medical faculties.

Lindeboom created the Medisch Encyclopaedisch Instituut. Here, he explored medical ethics, philosophy, and the history of medicine.

The Stichting Historia Medicinae promoted medical history in the Netherlands. It offered grants and organized events. Lindeboom also founded the Stichting Pieter van Foreest. This was named after a famous sixteenth-century doctor.
