Beneath where we stand, the Ringpark building has a story of transformation. Once known simply as “the Ringpark”, this structure in Amsterdam West has undergone significant redevelopment. This transformation aimed to blend existing qualities with modern enhancements.

Vink Projects played a crucial role in this process. They provided the complete air technical installation for the renovated building. The goal was to create a comfortable indoor climate for future occupants.

Under its new name, Rembrandt Park One, the complex seeks to be a prime location. It aims to foster a mix of businesses and public facilities. The project involved a substantial renovation. Approximately 25,000 square meters of office space was revamped. Furthermore, an additional 2,500 square meters were created. This expansion included constructing two extra floors atop the existing ten.

The transparent facades give the renovated building an iconic look. They also offer stunning views of the nearby Rembrandt Park. The completion of the office building was scheduled for late quarter 1 of 2022.

The air technical installation included a vast network of ductwork. There were 3,500 square meters of rectangular galvanized ductwork. Additionally, 3,000 meters of round spiral seamed ductwork were installed. To ensure efficiency, 5,000 square meters of the ductwork were externally insulated.

Rembrandt Park One, previously known as Ringpark, has been thoroughly renovated. It now features two additional floors made of glass. A new pavilion was also added. Roodenburg was involved in realizing the WKO installation. This helped the building achieve a BREEAM Excellent certificate. The installation provides the building with sustainable heating and cooling. The design phase considered the future realization of Rembrandt Park Two and Three.

In collaboration with Dura Vermeer, Boelens de Gruyter initiated the redevelopment. This was driven by an increased demand for office space in the capital. Its location near the city center makes Rembrandt Park attractive. It is ideal for various companies ranging from start-ups to multinationals.

The two glass-constructed floors provide approximately 2,500 square meters of office space. This space is filled with natural light and offers city views. In total, Rembrandt Park spans 25,000 square meters. This includes bicycle parking and commercial spaces. The rebuilt pavilion features extensive glass. This gives occupants the feeling of being immersed in the park.

The ground floor of the pavilion houses a restaurant. It is accessible to everyone and features a large waterfront terrace. A passage under the building and a bridge over the water connect Rembrandt Park to the park. The aim is to create a space where Amsterdam residents can escape the city’s hustle. The building was slated for completion in the fourth quarter of 2022.

Rembrandt Park offers a unique office environment. There is a high demand for such spaces in the capital region. The focus is increasingly on high-quality, sustainable buildings. Its location between two residential areas and near the center creates a mixed-use area.

The location on Nachtwachtlaan offers excellent accessibility by car via the A10. Amsterdam city center and Schiphol Airport are easily accessible by public transport from Amsterdam Lelylaan station.

Rembrandt Park sits on the border of Oud-West and Nieuw-West. It provides a prime location for companies seeking a modern, vibrant, and high-quality office. The building’s green character complements its surroundings. The BREEAM Excellent certificate underscores its commitment to sustainability. So remember the name Ringpark and its transformation into the new sustainable Rembrandt Park One.
