Elliott Gallery was established in 2003 as Gallery Vassie. Architect Amy Ingrassia designed the gallery concept. She delivered solutions for some of the world’s leading brands.

Addie Elliott founded the gallery. She is one of Europe’s leading experts in fine art and documentary photography. Addie connects photographers and clients. They share a passion for historical and contemporary photography.

Addie is a gallerist. She is also a historian, curator, advisor and consultant. Furthermore, Addie is a writer, lecturer, mentor and commentator of photography. She has a degree in the History of Design and the Visual Arts. Her major was in the History of Photography.

Addie Elliott worked at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. She also ran a commercial photography gallery in Notting Hill. Before relocating to Amsterdam, she was at The Photographers’ Gallery institution in London.

Elliott Gallery holds a diverse collection. It includes work from key historical and established photographic artists. The collection spans from the early 20th century to contemporary works. The photographers have exhibited internationally. Their work features in museums and private collections.

The gallery represents 30 influential photographers. Each one is a leader in their genre. Elliott Gallery has produced over 70 exhibitions onsite in Amsterdam. They have also exhibited at institutions like Huis Marseille and Foam. Elliott Gallery also appears at Paris Photo. They even work with the British Arts Council in Arles.

Eszti Bakos is the Gallery Manager. She oversees the planning and management of exhibitions. She also develops marketing and business strategies. Eszti cultivates artist and client relationships.

Eirini Alexandrou is the Project Manager. She is in charge of special projects. This includes the Open Call for Exhibition Proposals. Eirini uses her experience in arts management. She also uses her organizational skills.

Elle O’Donnell focuses on marketing and business strategies. Lia Sara Caramia is the Social Media Intern. Luiza Boiteux is an All-round Intern. The team is dedicated. They are ready to help you source perfect pieces. These pieces align with your vision and style.

Currently, Elliott Gallery presents “Ballade”. It’s a poetic homage to Post-Apartheid South Africa by Michelle Sank. The exhibition opened Saturday 8th February 2025. It is on view until 12th April 2025.

The Elliott Gallery is open from Wednesday to Saturday. The opening hours are 13:00 to 18:00. There is no fee to enter.
