Tytus Brzozowski, known for his surreal watercolors, created this masterpiece. He collaborated with the Ideamo team to bring this vision to life. Brzozowski began painting murals in 2018. Since then he has left his mark all over Warsaw.
But this isn’t just any mural. The Wolska Mural is special. It uses anti-smog technology. Special paints neutralize airborne pollutants. The entire building is covered and not just one side. ZGN Wola partnered with Brzozowski on this project.
Mateusz Matejewski, director of ZGN Wola, understood the environmental benefits. He said that the anti-smog paints on such a large surface clean the air. It’s like having 400 trees working to purify the atmosphere.
Brzozowski paid tribute to the surrounding area. He included familiar local landmarks. Among them are the iconic gas towers near Zachodnia station. They are known as the “Wola Colosseum”. These rotundas were built during the Industrial Revolution. They have fascinated Warsaw’s urban explorers for years.
