Construction on this Anglo-Norman style building began in 1913. It was completed in 1919 by architect Georges Benezech. Initially it served as a chapel. Later it became a parish.

Cardinal L\u00e9on Amette blessed the church. He expressed hope it would call upon the Queen of Heaven’s protection. This blessing extended to the aviators often navigating the skies in this region. This connection to aviation is reflected in its name. It translates to Our Lady of the Air.

However the church later reverted to chapel status. Its territory became part of the Saint-Cloud parish. The church celebrated its centennial in 2019. Mgr Roug\u00e9 the bishop of Nanterre led the celebration.
