In 1929, a grand villa arose in Konstancin-Jeziorna, a testament to the vision of Dr. Aleksander Fryszman and his wife Ewa. This was Willa Sans Souci, a neo-Baroque masterpiece. Its two stories exuded elegance, its varied facades hinting at the rich details within. Willa Sans Souci boasted steel balconies adorned with geometric and floral motifs. The spaces between its diversely shaped windows were embellished with flat relief decorations. A subtle clue to the villa’s birth year could be found etched into a cartouche above an archway on the eastern side, above the entrance. The year 1929, marking the moment Willa Sans Souci took its place in the landscape. During the 1930s, Willa Sans Souci opened its doors to a new chapter. Zofia Woyciechowska Chycyńska transformed the villa, and the neighboring “Mon Repos,” into a welcoming guesthouse. After 1945, Willa Sans Souci was abandoned and taken over by the State Treasury. It later became part of the STOCER hospital complex, its elegant past fading into the background.
