In the late 19th century, a humble settlement named Wiktorya emerged on the outskirts of Warsaw. This quiet community, later known as Wiktoryn, began its life as a modest folwark. Wiktoryn, nestled amidst fields and forests, was a world away from the bustling city center. Life moved at a slower pace in this small village of just 33 souls, surrounded by 151 hectares of farmland. The year 1931 saw Wiktoryn begin to take on a more urban character as 12 households lined the newly established Czereśniowa Street. The rumble of progress arrived a year later with the construction of the Electric Commuter Railway line, forever linking Wiktoryn with the heart of Warsaw. Despite its growth, Wiktoryn retained its unique identity. This peaceful community, forever bound to its agricultural roots, eventually became a part of Warsaw. The formal incorporation took place in 1951, marking the beginning of a new chapter for Wiktoryn.
