Webster Theatres – G15 sits nestled between the quad food court and the Robert Webster building. It is a vital hub for lectures and learning. This building fosters academic exploration.
Inside Webster Theatres – G15, you’ll find two main spaces. These are Webster Theatre A and Webster Theatre B. Webster Theatre A, also known as K-G15-190, can hold 180 students. Webster Theatre B, or K-G15-290, accommodates 189. Both rooms are designed to enhance the learning experience.
K-G15-190 features a tiered floor with fixed seating. This setup ensures everyone has a clear view. The room is equipped with modern IT facilities. These include a digital annotation monitor and dual video data projectors.
It is also a hybrid teaching space. Lecture capture with video feed is available. This allows for remote learning. Students can connect their laptops easily.
The room also boasts comprehensive audio-visual equipment. A document camera is available. For writing, there is a wide blackboard. Microphones include dual radio microphones and a fixed lectern neck microphone.
Accessibility is a key consideration. K-G15-190 has air conditioning for ventilation. An audio loop assists those with hearing aids. Wheelchair access is available for both teaching and student areas. There is even a wheelchair tablet for student use.
The Robert Webster Building itself adds to the academic atmosphere. It is known that level 3 can be temperamental. Particularly in room 327, so plan accordingly.
