Initially a summer retreat it’s been a year-round residence since 1919. This isn’t just a house it’s a testament to enduring elegance.

The villa boasts a unique blend of American Stick style and other revival styles. Note the dark brown wood paneling accented with yellow and green. The copper roof and the later-added glass veranda are exquisite details. The extensive leaf carvings on the facade are truly remarkable. They’re a beautiful example of the craftsmanship of the era.

It could easily function as a separate apartment.

Outside a park-like garden slopes down towards the water. This was thoughtfully designed to capture spectacular sunsets. The view of Ulriksdal Palace is simply stunning. The gardens are largely the work of Rudolf Abelin the same landscape architect who designed the Norrviken gardens. Parts of the garden have been restored using original plans.
