Welcome to Villa Lindhov! A charming wooden villa, nestled on the Fagersjõvägen, in Stockholm. Built in 1910, this lovely little house is a testament to the architectural style of the time, with its white walls, black roof, and charming wooden accents. This building is a true gem of Swedish architecture, and it’s no surprise that this villa is considered a local landmark.
Harald Lind, a wealthy businessman, commissioned the house and named it after himself. At the time, Lindhov was considered a luxurious residence. It had everything anyone could need – a comfortable and roomy interior, beautiful gardens, and a picturesque view of the surrounding area. He was a man of taste and style and wanted to create a home that was both functional and beautiful. He succeeded.
Unfortunately, not much more is known about the history of the property. It seems like a place where history has played out, but we’re missing some important details. It would be extraordinary to know more about the lives that unfolded inside its walls, but the stories of the past stay silent. But, the villa survives, standing as a reminder of a bygone era, when life moved at a slower pace, and the pleasures of simple things were appreciated. It’s a treasure that brings us back to a simpler time.
Enjoy the view of Villa Lindhov. We’re going to continue our walk to our next stop, a hidden gem with a fascinating story to tell.
