What if parks could talk? Shenzhen is a city known for its green spaces. It boasts many parks. Shenzhen is officially a garden city. This is because of its ample green spaces.
Today we are exploring a park in Shenzhen. It is one of the top ten parks.
Lianhuashan Park is Shenzhen’s biggest park. It is also the most well-known. Many people recommend visiting it. You can lounge on the grass. A picnic is also a good idea here. It is a great place to fly a kite. Hike to the top and see Deng Xiaoping’s statue. The view of the Civic Center is magnificent. It is one of the easiest and safest choices. At night, the views are phenomenal.
Litchi Park is perfect for a daytime stroll. It is popular but not overly busy. Walk around the lake or boat on it. There are photo opportunities of KK100. The Diwang Building also stands out. There is a large portrait of Deng Xiaoping outside. It is a nice place to stroll or rest.
Bijiashan Park covers a huge area. Tons of trees provide shade for a midday walk. There is a cornucopia of nature. Beware of the snakes. A short hike gives you a stunning city view. The lack of people makes it great for a head-clearing stroll.
Central Park has a central location. It also has an abundance of green space. Sporting facilities are available here. You can play tennis or football. A small stream runs down the middle. There is a nice bridge to walk over. It is good for bike rides too. It doesn’t get the recognition it deserves.
Shenzhen International Garden and Expo Park mixes different garden styles. These gardens are from all over China. The park is aged but has charm. Check out the pagoda early. You can observe the monk’s daily worship. I am sure you’ll love this hidden gem. It is one of my go-to places. I enjoy a quiet stroll and beautiful nature here.
Shenzhen Bay Park is perfect for a bike ride by the ocean. Be warned it can be crowded on weekends. It’s also a nice spot for a picnic under a palm tree. The park is popular morning, noon, and night. The path connects to Sea World. You can also connect to Talent Park or Dasha River. It is a good place for bird watching. Note that bikes are not permitted on weekends.
Shenzhen Talent Park is a wonderful place to visit. Come both day and night. At night, it is lit up and looks magnificent. During the day, see the artistic statues. There is a running track. Lots of green areas and rest stops are available. Get a good view of the Spring Bamboo building. You can also connect to Shenzhen Bay MixC Mall.
Honey Park is centrally located. It is very easy and convenient to get to. This park is immaculate and clean. It’s green and colorful. There is also a large rose garden. A nice small pond sits in the middle. The park has an abundance of nature and animals.
Fairy Lake Botanical Gardens is more of a botanical garden. It deserves a mention because of its popularity. There is so much to do and see here. It is an entire day trip. From the butterfly garden to the petrified forest, options are varied. There is also a Buddhist temple and a lake. This is one of the best places in Shenzhen.
Hong Hu Park features a large lake. During the season, colorful lotus flowers bloom. The park will be packed with locals taking selfies. The best part is the graffiti wall. This long wall has an array of spray paint graffiti. It’s a hidden Shenzhen secret.
