Reflecting light from every angle the V Tower stands tall. Have you ever seen a building that embodies openness joy and optimism? This is V Tower in Prague. It’s not just a building. It’s a statement.
V Tower Prague is the tallest residential building in the Czech Republic. It rises 104 meters high with 30 floors. Its construction finished in 2018. The V Tower was designed by Czech architect Radan Hubička. Aceur Investment was the main investor.
Located above the Vltava river the V Tower offers stunning views. You can see the city center Prague Castle and the Vysehrad and Vinohrady neighborhoods. The location is near leisure facilities and schools. It is about the same distance from Pařížská street shops as it is from Hodkovicky Golf Resort and Velka Chuchle horse racing facility.
The Pankrác Plain is ideal for high-rise flats. The area has been called “Prague Manhattan”. This is because its skyline is reminiscent of New York. Near V Tower are three other high-rises of 109 104 and 79 meters. Another residential building of 108 meters is planned nearby.
The V Tower’s design is modern Czech architecture. It features two towers linked at two-thirds of their height. Above this point they rise separately. This design expands the tower’s size as it rises. It minimizes ground appropriation and creates space for terraces. The highest apartments have more space.
The V shape symbolizes Victoria openness freedom joy and optimism. It also represents yin and yang masculine and feminine energies. The glass walls reflect light. Glass partitions and sliding doors create openness. Radan Hubička’s architectural studio designed V Tower.
Apartments in V Tower feature advanced technology. This includes cooling heating and ventilation. Such technology was previously used at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics and in a few residences on the Côte d’Azur France. British experts specialize in soundproofing to reduce noise from high winds.
Initially ECM Real Estate Investments developed V Tower. After their bankruptcy in 2013 Aceur Investments took over. They worked with Radan Hubička to redesign the building. New permits were needed delaying completion by two years. Originally the project was called “Epoque”.
Construction of V Tower cost about 3 billion Czech koruna. During initial planning there were objections. Prague locals worried about the high-rises impact on Prague’s skyline. UNESCO also expressed concerns. They wanted one building reduced to 70 meters. This led to revisions of the building plans.
V Tower offers 120 flats. These range from studios to large apartments. There are also four-story penthouses with private gardens and swimming pools. Residents have access to a gym spa sauna and swimming pool. Pet care dry cleaning and catering services are also available. The ground floor has a reception desk. A concierge is present at all times. Garages below the complex offer 254 parking spaces. A team of handymen caters to residents’ needs. Apartments are designed to be sunlit. They open into the surrounding park area. Apartments have one to five bedrooms. There is also a children’s room.
Apartment sales launched in September 2015. Prices started at 100000 crowns per square meter. Higher apartments cost more. Aceur Investments did not disclose the cost of the most expensive penthouses. Flats range from 50 to 380 square meters.
V Tower received two awards before completion. It won Best Residential High-rise Architecture Czech Republic and Best Residential High-rise Development Czech Republic at the International Property Awards in 2015. V Tower aims for LEED Platinum certification. It is the only building in the Czech Republic to achieve this ranking.
