Today Turtle Cove Beach offers a respite from the city’s hustle. It’s small only 73 meters long. But it’s perfect for a relaxing day. You’ll find barbecue pits changing rooms showers and toilets. Even a playground and a water sports center. The water quality is excellent rated Grade 1 by the Environmental Protection Department.
The beach is closed from June to October though. This is to protect the turtles during their nesting season. Respect for these magnificent creatures is crucial to their survival. Their future rests on the preservation of their home.
