It all began with a vision – a vision shared by Victor Ames and Urban von Rosen. They dreamed of a place where expats could find a taste of home and Stockholmers could experience the unique atmosphere of a British pub. The pub’s early days were a whirlwind of activity, with a dedicated team working tirelessly to bring this dream to life. There were challenges, of course, particularly navigating Stockholm’s strict alcohol licensing laws at the time. But the Tudor Arms persevered, eventually earning a permanent license in 1980. Today, the Tudor Arms stands as a testament to their dedication, a beloved Stockholm institution with a rich history and a lively atmosphere.
