A peaceful village, that’s Tsung Pak Long. It sits in Sheung Shui, North District, Hong Kong. This is a place of history and tradition.

Tsung Pak Long is officially recognized. It falls under the New Territories Small House Policy. The village is represented in the Sheung Shui District Rural Committee. Tsung Pak Long is part of the Fung Tsui constituency for elections.

Back in 1819, Tsung Pak Long was noted. It appeared in the Xin’an Xianzhi. This was the Gazetteer of the Sun-On County.

The 1911 census provides a glimpse into the past. There were 184 people living in Tsung Pak Long then. Of these, 105 were men.

Interestingly, people from Tsung Pak Long have connections to Lai Chi Wo Village. The Tsang’s clan migrated to Tsung Pak Long in 1904.
