You won’t believe this, but Trinity Baptist Church traveled quite a distance to get here. I’m not talking about a missionary trip. I’m talking about their actual church building! You see, before settling at this spot on 49th and Granville in 1955, the Trinity Baptist congregation had a few temporary homes. One of the most interesting was a church building that they moved all the way down the Fraser River from Coquitlam. Can you imagine the logistics?

The Trinity Baptist Church congregation itself has an even longer history, dating back to 1914. A small group of Baptists started meeting on Dunbar Street. They moved around quite a bit in those early years. They were clearly a determined bunch.
