Gazing at Tre moment, can you sense the echoes of its past? This bronze sculpture, nestled here in Stora Essingen, had a previous life. It first graced Järnvågsparken at Tegelbacken in 1971. The sculptor, Ivan Liljander, crafted Tre moment, but amidst the concrete and asphalt of Tegelbacken, the sculpture seemed lost. Its essence, its artistry, was stifled. The bustling urban setting did not allow Tre moment to truly breathe. So, it was moved. Stora Essingen, with its central square seeking adornment, became its new home in 1995. Here, the bronze sculpture could finally resonate with its surroundings. Tre moment found its stage, its audience, its moment. Imagine Liljander’s vision, finally realized as his creation found its perfect setting.
