Toronto Harvest Missionary Church was a seed planted to grow many disciples for the Kingdom of God. The church has since established locations in Toronto, Mississauga and even Frankfurt, Germany.
Toronto Harvest Missionary Church welcomes all who seek to follow Jesus. It is a diverse community dedicated to learning from Jesus. They embody His teachings in their daily lives. The church strives to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a broken world. They aim to reach individuals needing hope and support. The team fosters relationships that empower communities. Toronto Harvest Missionary Church ensures everyone feels seen and valued.
Toronto Harvest Missionary Church has expanded over the years. This expansion includes children’s ministry and youth ministry. They have a media ministry. They actively work in community outreach and missionary training.
Toronto Harvest Missionary Church launched Blessing Hands Mission in 1999. It commenced in Sri Lanka. Blessing Hands Mission is a non-profit. Pastor Vincent Sahayanathan and the Church in Toronto founded it. Its goal is to support Sri Lanka through evangelical work. They also provide charitable support. Blessing Hands Mission has intervened during disastrous events. These events include the 2004 tsunami and civil war instances. They also helped during COVID-19. The mission supports local schools and a children’s orphanage. They have held gospel crusades and youth meetings. They conduct evangelical seminars. Many souls have been won for the Kingdom of God.
Blessing Hands Mission established a missionary Training Centre in Sri Lanka in 2022. The Centre trains youth aged 18 to 30. They learn to preach the gospel effectively. They are taught how to reach unreached people groups. Students spend six months at the Centre. They gain skills to support people in broken homes. They help abuse victims and those dependent on drugs and alcohol. The Centre aids children lacking access to education. These students spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They restore hope and productivity in villages. The program runs year-round. Young people can register for discipleship.
The mission of Toronto Harvest Missionary Church is to reach the unreached in Toronto and Sri Lanka. There are over 300000 Sri Lankans in Toronto. Most migrated because of the civil war. Ninety-nine percent of them are Hindu. The goal is to reach them. They want to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. Toronto Harvest Missionary Church works through Sri Lankan local churches.
Toronto Harvest Missionary Church offers several services. Sunday service is held at 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM. Services are in Tamil and English.
