“Year-round tans” weren’t always the norm in Toronto but The Yorkville Club helped change that. This is The Yorkville Club. It is more than just a fitness center. It is a lifestyle destination right in Hazelton Lanes.

Back in 2005, the idea of a high-end fitness club here seemed bold. But Mark Kehr, the President of The Yorkville Club, knew the neighborhood needed a place to sweat. He knew the residents needed to show off their tans. The Yorkville Club opened its doors and quickly became a sensation.

Before The Yorkville Club, Premier Fitness closed. Extreme Fitness on Bloor was the only real option. The Yorkville Club offered something different with its ridiculously good-looking facility. The range of classes is impressive. Morning, noon, and night, there’s always something happening. You can find yoga, Pilates, spin, and other toning and cardio classes.

The Yorkville Club also has a business center. They offer valet parking, personal training, and wellness programs. It is a full-service experience.

The spa-inspired change rooms are beautifully designed. They have private showers and wet steam rooms. Towel and laundry service are included at no extra cost. Overnight lockers are available for a small fee.

If you are into Yoga you are at the right place. The Yorkville Club offers more than 65 classes a week. These include Hatha, Ashtanga, Hot Yoga, Pilates, and Restorative Yoga and Pilates. Spin classes are on the schedule 25 times a week. All yoga and spin classes are included in the membership price. Personal training sessions range from $70-$100 an hour.

Feeling hungry or thirsty? The Juice Bar and Cafe sells healthy wraps and salads. You can get pizzas, protein shakes, fruit smoothies, and bottled drinks. There are also breakfast items available all day.

Mark Kehr is a former Mr. American finalist. He previously owned a private studio called Fitness One-On-One. He catered to celebrities and socialites. These included Alanis Morissette, Edward Bronfman, and Peter Munk. You might have also seen Alfred Sung, Jeremy Irons and Norman Jewison there.

The Yorkville Club even has a second location. It’s at 101 Eglinton Avenue East. The Yorkville Club was acquired by Equinox. Equinox is an upscale fitness and lifestyle leader. The Yorkville Club merges the modernity of Toronto with pure aspiration. Open floors set the stage to empower.

The club features Tier X, an advanced training program. The Shop sells activewear and exclusive collaborations. Other amenities include a steam room, coat check, and Pilates studio. There is also a Kids Club, Coach X Personal Training, and heated yoga classes. Complimentary parking and parking validation are available. Integrated locks add convenience.

Whether you’re looking to sweat, relax, or socialize, The Yorkville Club offers something for everyone. So next time you’re in Hazelton Lanes, step inside. Experience the luxurious fitness lifestyle that The Yorkville Club provides.
