They built The Pulse a six-storey shopping arcade. This happened without proper government approval. This led to a legal battle. The building stood empty for years. Public complaints arose about the lack of shops and dining options near the beach.

The dispute was resolved in 2012. Emperor International paid a hefty land premium. Finally The Pulse opened in November 2014. It’s now a hub of activity. It boasts award-winning restaurants. These offer stunning panoramic sea views. Lifestyle stores and entertainment options complete the experience. The Pulse even has a dog-friendly area.
