At Temple Shalom, you’ll find Rabbi Rachel Ackerman leading the congregation as Senior Rabbi. Cantor Ze’evi Tovlev, one of the first openly transgender cantors, brings their passion for musical prayer to the services. Rabbi Joshua Gischner, the Rabbi Educator, uses creative methods like magic tricks and puppetry to make Jewish teachings accessible to all ages. And Rabbi JoHanna Potts, Adjunct Rabbi and Jewish Educator, contributes her extensive educational experience.
Even Rabbi Emeritus, Bruce E. Kahn, remains actively involved in the Temple Shalom community, volunteering his rabbinical services.
