Then a middle school was founded in 1909. In 1925, Takachiho Higher School of Commerce was established. It holds the distinction of being Japan’s first private higher school of commerce.

Fast forward to 1950. Educational reforms led to the birth of Takachiho College of Commerce. It had a single department of commerce. Over the years, Takachiho expanded its academic offerings. In 1996, a graduate school was added focusing on management studies. The university officially adopted the name Takachiho University in 2001.

Takachiho University offers various programs. You can study administration, business, or even humanities. The language of instruction is Japanese. Tuition fees are approximately $5,571 per year for both domestic and international students.
