“Established in 1968,” whispers the wind as it passes Taihei Trading Co. Let me tell you its story. Taihei Trading Co began its journey in May 1968. Keizo Nagai was appointed as president in September 1970.

In December 1980, Toho Electronics Inc. was established marking a new chapter. They began exporting quartz oscillators. Later, these duties were transferred to Taihei Trading.

In November 1994, an agency agreement with Sumitomo Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. was signed. December 1996 saw the construction of a new head office building in Hatchobori Tokyo. Takamichi Nagai took over as president in December 1997.

Taiho Crane Lease Co., Ltd. was established in January 2000. This marked their entry into the crane rental business.

July 2001 brought an agency agreement with Sumitomo Heavy Industries Construction Cranes Co., Ltd. In August 2003, they signed a distributorship agreement with Hitachi Sumitomo Heavy Industries Construction Crane Co., Ltd. The name later changed to Sumitomo Heavy Industries Construction Cranes Co., Ltd.

October 2010 saw the opening of the Machinery Center at the Osaka branch office of Taiho Crane Lease Co., Ltd. The Tohoku branch office opened in October 2013. Funabashi 1st Machinery Center opened in April 2017. July 2017 marked the opening of the Hokkaido sales office.

Takayoshi Nagai was appointed president in April 2022. Taihei Trading Co., Ltd. has a capital of 50 million yen. The company employs 97 people including subsidiaries. The fiscal period ends on March 31.
