The Steinbüchel family history dates back to at least the 1100s. The family lived in this area for generations. One descendant, Hermann Joseph Steinbüchel, immigrated to America in the late 1800s. He was drawn to the opportunities of the New World. Hermann’s family eventually joined him in America. They settled in Kansas.
