St Aidan’s on the Hill is located on the corner of Poto Road and Stratton Street. It is more than bricks and mortar. It is a vibrant community. It is a place where faith comes alive through service and fellowship.
Since 1964, St Aidan’s on the Hill has been a spiritual home. It is a place where people connect with God and each other. The church actively engages with its community. It offers various programs for all ages.
Each Sunday at 9.30am, the main service is held. It offers a chance to worship together. The service is followed by morning tea. This provides a relaxed setting for fellowship.
For the younger members, St Aidan’s on the Hill offers a Junior Church. It runs during the main service. Pre-schoolers and school-age children enjoy stimulating activities. They learn about faith in an engaging way.
Communion Service is held on the second Sunday of each month. It is a special time for reflection. Parishioners remember Christ’s sacrifice. They reaffirm their commitment to their faith.
The first Sunday of the month brings a Cafe Service. Replacing the regular service, it starts at 9.30am. It provides a more informal setting for worship.

St Aidan’s on the Hill also looks after its senior citizens. Open Door is a lunch meal. It is provided fortnightly on a Friday at 12pm. Transport can be arranged within Lower Hutt city. Contact Val to arrange transport. A small donation helps cover meal costs.
