The temple nurtures young classical artists, providing them a platform to showcase their talents. In 2005, the Sri Varasiththi Vinayagar Hindu College was founded. This educational institution teaches Hindu religion, culture, and the Tamil language to over 220 students. The temple’s commitment to community extends beyond its walls. Priests regularly visit local healthcare facilities. They offer prayers and comfort at places like Scarborough Grace Hospital, Scarborough General Hospital, and several others. The Sri Varasiththi Vinayagar Hindu Temple also offers special services. These include Ganapathy Homam, Luxmi Homam, and various Shanti Homams. They also perform wedding ceremonies, often incorporating traditional elements like Manavarai and Navagraha Homam. Sri Varasiththi Vinayagar Hindu Temple opens its doors early, at 7:00 am. Morning prayers commence at 10:00 am, followed by afternoon prayers at noon. The temple then closes briefly, reopening at 5:00 pm for evening and night prayers at 6:30 pm and 9:00 pm respectively.
