Built within a year Spojovna opened in May 2018. This isn’t just any pub. Spojovna is a microbrewery and restaurant. It sits on the northeastern edge of Kunratice near university dorms. Its name means Connector. It reflects the brewery’s aim. The aim is to connect residents of neighboring districts. These districts are Kunratice Chodov and Šeberov.
The building’s design is striking. The facade is a 3D array of dark stained spruce slats. Only one glimpse of the brewery’s interior is visible. A large glass wall connects the restaurant to a covered terrace and garden. The architects mar.s architects created this unique design.
Spojovna brews four signature beers. There’s the Kunratický Študák a pale ale. The Kunratický Ležák is a lager. The Chodovský Kravář is a wheat beer. The Šeberovský Fešák is a stout. Seasonal specials are also available. These include the Opatovský Leták and Kunratický Vínač. Spojovna also serves beers from other breweries. These breweries are Hostivar and Trautenberk. They’re part of the same business group.
