Established in 1968, SKH Kei Wing Primary School stands as a testament to the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui’s commitment to education. The school was established to commemorate the ascension of Jesus Christ. SKH Kei Wing Primary School is located on Lai Chi Kok Road. Originally, SKH Kei Wing Primary School operated both morning and afternoon sessions. These sessions spanned from Primary 1 to Primary 4. By 1970, the school expanded to a total of 48 classes. In 2006, SKH Kei Wing Primary School transitioned. The morning section remained at its current location, offering full-day primary education. The afternoon school merged with the afternoon section of SKH Holy Carpenter Primary School. This merger created SKH St. Andrew’s Primary School. SKH Kei Wing Primary School carries a rich history. The school’s construction was funded through loans and a government subsidy of 7.26 million dollars. The opening ceremony took place in May 1969. Bishop John Gilbert Baker, the eighth Archbishop of Hong Kong and Macao, led the dedication ceremony. J. N. Y. Chan, the Director of Education at the time, officiated the unveiling. Fast forward to 2018, SKH Kei Wing Primary School invited a former member of the Chinese National Badminton Team, Shen Wenjie, to coach their badminton team. The school aimed to nurture the athletic talents of its students. The school’s motto, “Not to be served but to serve,” reflects its dedication to holistic education. SKH Kei Wing Primary School continues to serve the community. It provides a nurturing environment. It fosters academic excellence and personal growth.
