The September 11th Circle, dedicated in 2013, sets itself apart as the only memorial outside of the US to list the names of all 2,974 victims of that tragic day. A 30-foot bronze sculpture dominates the space, a representation of the American flag dramatically curled into the shape of an eternal flame. At its base, a piece of the World Trade Center, a tangible link to the tragedy. But what truly elevates this place is the inscription of every single victim’s name on the curved Wall of Remembrance.
