Designed by Amav Architects and Peleg Architects the Sapir Tower boldly rises. Here in Ramat Gan it stands tall. Do you see its unique shape? The building’s branding derives from its resemblance to a sapphire stone. Hence, the name Sapir Tower.
The Sapir Tower’s story began long before its completion in 2019. This land was once a simple parking lot. In 2001, Tidhar and Rogovin companies bought the land. Later, Aviv company joined the deal.
Initially, they planned a 27-floor office building. But the developers had bigger plans. They requested to build 60000 square meters of offices on 40 floors. In 2012, a plan was approved for a 50-story tower.
Construction finally began in 2015. During the construction, it was decided to build 40 floors. By the summer of 2018, the Sapir Tower reached its full height. Finally, it was completed at the end of that year.
The Sapir Tower is not just about height. It is about innovation and functionality. The tower has eight high-speed elevators. A service elevator is also available. The entrance lobby welcomes visitors. A trading floor spans approximately 1571 square meters.
Notice the building’s covering. It consists of 26000 square meters of radial curtain walls. Sharp glass corners define the facade’s edge. This creates a sense of continuity. Continuous slats in the spandrel areas provide natural ventilation.
The Sapir Tower includes five basement floors. These floors serve as a parking lot. It is about 30 meters deep. The parking provides about 800 spaces.
The middle floors 18 to 27 function as a separate wing. These are specifically for diamond dealers. They have separate elevators and an inspection lobby. This section is part of the Diamond Exchange complex.
Inside, you will find advanced control systems. Energy-saving resources are integrated throughout. Thirteen rapid elevators efficiently move people. The luxurious lobbies and design meet high standards.
The Sapir Tower stands 163.6 meters tall. That is 537 feet. It has 42 floors above ground and five underground. The total floor area is 60000 square meters. That is 646000 square feet.
The Sapir Tower is located in the Diamond Exchange District. This area is vibrant with professionals and financial institutions. Bursa’s cultural attractions surround it.
