In a strategic move, Santos FC partnered with IWG/Regus/Spaces. They established a modern office space. This new setup aimed to reduce costs. It was projected to save the club around R$ 1.5 million annually. This was a significant saving compared to the old Business Center in the Pacaembu area.

The location of the Santos FC Business Center was carefully chosen. Situated on Alameda Santos near Avenida Paulista, it is in the city’s heart. Rafael Soares from Santos FC Marketing emphasized the location’s modernity. It provides everything the club needs in a central location.

Santos FC has a rich history. It was founded on April 14, 1912. The club emerged from the vision of three sports enthusiasts: Francisco Raymundo Marques, Mário Ferraz de Campos, and Argemiro de Souza Júnior. Their aim was to create a club dedicated to football.

The inaugural meeting took place at the Concordia Club. Edmundo Jorge de Araújo suggested the name: Santos Foot-Ball Club. The original uniform colors were blue and white with golden threads. The club’s colors later changed to white shorts and a white-and-black striped shirt.

Urbano Vilella Caldeira Filho played a crucial role in the club’s early years. He was an athlete, coach, and manager. His dedication led to the stadium being named after him. It became a tribute to his love for the club.
