It serves as a beacon of hope in the Archdiocese of San Antonio. Saint Leo the Great Catholic Church opens its doors to all, welcoming those seeking solace and spiritual nourishment. Mass times are a regular rhythm in the life of Saint Leo the Great. Saturday offers a 7:00 am Mass, followed by an 8:00 am Spanish Mass. The first Saturday of each month includes Anointing of the Sick. Later on Saturday, services continue at 5:00 pm and a 7:00 pm Spanish Mass. Sunday Mass times are 8:00 am, 10:00 am in Spanish, and a 12:00 pm Spanish Mass. Weekday Masses are held at 6:30 am Monday through Thursday. There’s also an 8:00 am Spanish Mass Monday through Friday. A Friday 12:00 pm Mass rounds out the weekly schedule. Saint Leo the Great also provides weekday Adoration from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Confessions are available on Wednesdays from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. They are also held on the first Friday of the month from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. The church’s office, located at 119 Octavia Place, serves as a hub for administrative functions. Saint Leo the Great Catholic Church has faced its share of challenges. The affiliated school, St. Leo the Great Catholic School, unfortunately closed in 2019 due to declining enrollment and financial difficulties. Yet, the church continues to serve as a spiritual anchor for the community.
