This design highlight provides natural ventilation and lighting. It brings the outdoor environment inside.
Fair-faced concrete and Chinese kiln-fired grey bricks were used. Interior walls feature wooden slats. This creates a natural feel. High headroom facilitates natural ventilation. Glass and skylights reduce electricity consumption. Benches have handrails to assist the elderly.
The architects introduced green building designs. Nets with climbing plants increase shaded areas. Thirteen original trees were retained. Shrubs and lawns provide shade.
