“Top-tier hospitality” isn’t usually what you expect from an office building. But Roserock Place is no ordinary office tower. Let’s explore this revitalized workspace in the heart of Toronto’s Financial District.

Roserock Place, formerly known as 121 King West, has been reimagined. Crestpoint Real Estate Investments transformed it into a modern, tenant-focused hub. The aim was to create an energetic, commute-worthy destination.

Originally built in 1984, Dr. Arthur Lau, a Montreal architect, designed the building. It spans 540,000 square feet. Roserock Place retains its signature pink granite facade, but the interior has been entirely modernized.

The location is ideal. Roserock Place has direct access to Toronto’s PATH system. It is close to St. Andrew Station and a short walk from Union Station. This makes it easily accessible for commuters.

The transformation of Roserock Place involved a collaborative effort. Crestpoint, JLL, B+H Architects, Eventscape, POI Business Interiors, and Whitman Emorson all contributed. Their combined insight and creativity elevated the office experience. The goal was to meet the demands of today’s users.

What makes Roserock Place unique? It offers a concierge service. A custom app connects tenants to the concierge. The app also provides building updates and access to team events. Monthly activations focus on health, wellness, and cultural education. These programs foster meaningful connections among tenants.

The building’s tenant lounge and social club is a highlight. Located on the 22nd floor, it features a terrace. A rooftop garden, bar, library, lounge area, and sports simulator are included. These amenities encourage teamwork and social interaction.

Need a quiet space? Roserock Place offers “alonement” spaces, boardrooms, and breakout rooms. There are also conference and event areas. High-value pop-up engagement opportunities are available too.

End-of-trip facilities are another perk. Hotel-quality showers and ample bike storage cater to active commuters.

Sustainability is a priority at Roserock Place. The building targets a 10 percent reduction in energy use. The EcoTracker system monitors energy consumption. Waste management and recycling programs are in place. The rooftop garden features drought-resistant plants and native vegetation.

In 2022, all glass windows were replaced. This improvement drives cost savings and reduces the building’s carbon footprint.

Crestpoint’s reimagining of Roserock Place sets a new benchmark. It is a previously unavailable boutique Class A building in the downtown core. Leasing activity has increased. This highlights its potential to enhance Toronto’s business landscape.

Max Rosenfeld, Executive Vice President at Crestpoint, put it best. Roserock Place enhances work quality through engagement. The experiences and offerings boost employee engagement.

Roserock Place truly redefines the modern office experience. It’s a space where hospitality meets productivity. Community thrives. The building offers a vibrant and connected work environment. Its blend of modern amenities and sustainable practices makes it a standout in Toronto’s Financial District.
