Now known as the Riverstone Museum, it’s run by the Riverstone & District Historical Society, a dedicated group of volunteers. They’ve been preserving Riverstone’s history since 1980. Inside the Riverstone Museum, you’ll find more than just dusty relics. You’ll discover a vibrant tapestry of local life. Photos capture the changing face of the district. A meatworks display tells the story of a once-booming industry. Historical farm machinery stands silent, whispering tales of bygone harvests. You can even find sporting memorabilia and military items. The Riverstone Museum offers a glimpse into the lives of those who came before us, from household furniture to local history publications. It’s open the first Sunday of every month, except January, from 11 am to 2 pm. Entry is free, but donations are always welcome.
