Revesby Uniting Church has a rich history. It began as Revesby Methodist Church. The church opened its doors on July 31 1948. For almost forty years it served the community under that name. In 1977, it became Revesby Uniting Church.
But Revesby Uniting Church’s story goes back further. The church served a community of farmers and market gardeners. Revesby Congregational Church was the first church in the area. Today Revesby Uniting Church continues to serve a changing community. It shares the Good News about Jesus.
Revesby Uniting Church is part of the Uniting Church in Australia. It is an inclusive community. People of all ages and backgrounds are welcome. The church particularly welcomes the LGBTQIA+ community. Revesby Uniting Church strives to be a place of light. It is a place to learn from Jesus’ vision. The church also engages with gospel stories.
