Established in 2006 Renaissance College stands as a beacon of international education in Ma On Shan. This wasn’t always the case. Before Renaissance College there was Phoenix International School. It served as a temporary solution after another school unexpectedly closed. Phoenix International School occupied a different site before merging with Renaissance College. This created the impressive institution we see today.
Renaissance College offers a unique blend of primary and secondary education. All under one roof. It’s an all-through school. Students from Year 1 to Year 13 learn together. The college boasts state-of-the-art facilities. There’s a performing arts center a 25-meter indoor swimming pool and even a climbing wall. It truly is a vibrant campus.
The college’s curriculum is based on the International Baccalaureate. Renaissance College is an IB World School. This is a significant achievement. It also offers the IB Career-related Programme. It was the first school in East Asia to offer all four IB programmes. Technology is deeply integrated into teaching. Every student has access to a laptop.
The student body is incredibly diverse representing 40 nationalities and 20 languages. English is the primary language of instruction. Mandarin is taught at every level. The college embraces diversity and inclusivity. Financial aid and scholarships are available. This ensures that students from all backgrounds can thrive.
From its humble beginnings as a temporary solution Renaissance College has blossomed. It’s become a leading international school. A place where students are inspired to become global citizens and future leaders. The school’s motto is “To seek To serve To strive”. It’s a perfect reflection of its mission. This is a place of learning innovation and global collaboration. A place where students are not only educated but empowered.
