Here at Rambler Crest, we find ourselves in a unique spot. It is a place where residential comfort meets commercial convenience. Rambler Crest is more than just a housing development. It is a self-contained community on Tsing Yi Island.
Rambler Crest stands on the former site of a Mobil oil depot. The location is 1 Tsing Yi Road, in the New Territories. Hutchison Whampoa and Cheung Kong developed Rambler Crest. Occupation began in December 2003.
Rambler Crest includes a private housing estate. It also features a shopping mall and three hotels. The hotels are Rambler Garden Hotel, Rambler Oasis Hotel, and Winland 800 Hotel. The name “Rambler” comes from the nearby Rambler Channel.
The initial plan was for hotels only. Residential units were not in the original design because of the proximity to Container Terminal 9. This terminal was already owned by Hutchison. The development evolved into something more. It now includes three hotels at the front and five residential blocks at the back.
The residential complex includes 1,585 units. These flats have two or three bedrooms. The Gross Floor Areas range from approximately 680 to 950 square feet. This translates to a net usable area of 540 to 760 square feet. Salesable areas range from 451 to 690 square feet.
Notably, Rambler Crest boasts Hong Kong’s longest swimming pool. This private pool stretches 200 meters. Residents can enjoy a refreshing swim with impressive views.
The estate features a small shopping center on the ground floor. There are also clubhouse facilities for residents. These amenities enhance the living experience at Rambler Crest.
Each hotel has roughly 800 rooms. The Rambler Garden Hotel and Rambler Oasis Hotel are managed by Harbour Plaza Hotel Management. The Winland 800 Hotel is operated by Mexan Limited. It was previously known as Mexan Harbour Hotel.
Getting around from Rambler Crest is convenient. Two Maxicab lines serve the estate. 88F goes to Tsing Yi MTR station. 88G goes to Kwai Fong MTR station. A bus stop outside Cheung Ching Estate offers additional routes. Long Win Bus A32 provides a direct link to Hong Kong International Airport.
Rambler Crest combines living, shopping, and hospitality. It offers a complete lifestyle package in a strategic location. The POA School Net is 66. The Secondary school district is in Kwai Tsing. Rambler Crest is a vibrant community, connected and convenient.
