Raimondi College is a subsidized secondary school. It stands proudly in Hong Kong. The college was founded in 1958. The Roman Catholic Diocese in Hong Kong established it.

Bishop Gao Leimen inspired the college’s name. He was a PIME missionary. From 1874 to 1894, Gao Leimen preached in Hong Kong. He became the first apostolic vicar of Hong Kong.

In 1958, the Pontifical Institute for Foreign Missions celebrated 100 years of service in Hong Kong. Bishop Lorenzo Bianchi built Raimondi College. Cardinal Ya Jing’an presided over the school’s ordination.

The Old Student Association began in 1961. The Parent-Teacher Association started in 1966. The Student Association was founded in 1969. In 1978, Raimondi College became a subsidized school.

Raimondi College has taught in English since its start. In 1998, the Education Bureau approved English as the main teaching language. It became one of 114 English-taught secondary schools in Hong Kong.

In 2008, Raimondi College celebrated its 50th anniversary. The primary school moved to Shiu Fai Terrace that year. The primary and secondary schools became co-educational too.

In 2018, students sold items at a Lai Chi Kok stall. They sold neon lights, tote bags, and stuffed toys. These were all designed by students.

By 2024, Raimondi College became a Band 1A secondary school. It is now in the top 9% academically in Hong Kong.

The main building is 165 feet tall. It has 14 floors. The secondary school covers 10,200 square meters. It has eight playgrounds. The 8th-floor basketball playground is closed temporarily due to fire safety rules.

Raimondi College is located in Mid-Levels West, Central. It is near Hong Kong Caritas headquarters. The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception is also nearby. The land belonged to the Cathedral. It was once the main campus of Wah Yan College in 1921.

About 2,100 students attend the primary and secondary schools. The school uses constant assessment. This improves learning effectiveness. The school offers enrichment courses. These include math, science, and debate groups.
