The Purcellville Church of Christ wasn’t always here. It began in December 1998. A few related families started it. They envisioned a strong faithful church. This church would serve Western Loudoun County.

For years the church grew. In 2009 the congregation purchased land. They constructed this very building. The first worship services were held here in October 2009. Since its origin the Purcellville Church of Christ has focused on spreading the Gospel.

The church takes the Gospel to this area and beyond. It helps those in need. The Purcellville Church of Christ is involved in numerous activities. These activities help the church meet its goals.

The Purcellville Church of Christ sees itself as part of an ancient tradition. The church believes Jesus built one church. This happened in Jerusalem on the Day of Pentecost around AD 33. All Christians should be united in one body. They should believe the same things.

The Purcellville Church of Christ strives to follow God’s commands. They look to the New Testament. This is God’s original plan for His people. Over the centuries human teachings have obscured this plan.

The church invites everyone to obey God. They want people to become Christians. This should happen without joining a denomination. The Purcellville Church of Christ desires to be like the first Christians.

Services here are held regularly. Sunday worship is at 9:00 AM. Sunday Bible study follows at 10:15 AM. A second Sunday worship service is at 11:15 AM. Wednesday Bible study takes place at 7:30 PM. All are welcome.
