Have you ever heard of a place where happiness takes flight? Right here in Canada’s Wonderland exists such a place: Planet Snoopy. This vibrant, whimsical land isn’t just a collection of rides. It’s a testament to the enduring charm of Charles Schulz’s beloved Peanuts characters. Planet Snoopy arrived in 2010, replacing Hanna-Barbera Land, and brought with it a fresh wave of family-friendly fun. Within Planet Snoopy is Snoopy’s Racing Railway, Canada’s Wonderland’s 18th roller coaster. It opened in May 2023, replacing the Dinosaurs Alive! exhibit. This coaster isn’t your average thrill ride. It’s a junior coaster, designed with little ones in mind but fun for the whole family. Imagine Snoopy as the conductor, leading you on a madcap race against Woodstock and his mischievous Bad Seed Gang. The coaster accelerates quickly from zero to 50 km/h. It then zips through dips and turns, all within a compact, colorful track. The ride cycles twice, giving you two chances to experience the fun. Initially, adults could only ride with a child. That rule was lifted in 2024. So now everyone can join Snoopy on his racing railway adventure.
