Ever wondered where purpose meets faith in education? Penrith Anglican College stands here as a testament to that vision. Established in 1998, Penrith Anglican College began with a clear aim. It sought to educate students to live purposefully and develop a personal faith in Christ.

Initially, there were only 137 students from Kindergarten to Year 7. Today, the College has grown significantly. Over 1,200 students attend from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12.

The story of Penrith Anglican College began in 1994. John Lambert, the NSW Assistant Director General of Education, saw a need. The rapidly growing Penrith area needed a low-fee, academically excellent Christian school. He believed the Anglican Church could fill this gap.

In February 1994, Mr Lambert became Director of Schools in the Sydney Anglican Schools Corporation. After research, he purchased the land in Orchard Hills. The Corporation then engaged architect Ridley Smith. Innovative earth shelter designs were approved. Construction started in 1996. Barry Roots was appointed Headmaster in 1997.

The College opened its doors in January 1998. In 2014, Mr Barry Roots retired. Mr Mark Lewis took over as Headmaster in 2015. Mrs Felicity Grima became Principal in 2019.
